You get a fun, new concept for a great tasting cheese!

As the granddaughter of an Executive Chef, Joelle Rhodes spent much of her childhood with “a backstage pass” to some of the best kitchens of hotels and restaurants in Northern California. She also spent countless hours cooking and baking by her grandfather’s side in the family kitchen. Today, her passion remains in the food industry and her cheese biz.

Rick Rhodes grew up working in his family’s pizza and pasta restaurants.  After obtaining a degree in Hospitality Management from Cal Poly Pomona, he managed the restaurants for his parents and later also worked in sales to food service.  Rick’s passion for cooking and entertaining led to the idea of Party Cheese during his wife’s pregnancy with their first son.  Needing to have a more flexible schedule to accommodate their growing family, Joelle urged him to make a list of his favorite things. Both thought it would be a great idea to combine 3 of the items on the list; cheese, cocktails and entertaining friends and family. And so the concept of Party Cheese was born.

Since that time much work has been done in the continued quest to make Party Cheese a household name. With that, the Party Cheese Family has also expanded.  Our family now also includes fellow cheese manufacturers, who have also served as mentors and friends, consultants and other advisors whose expertise has been invaluable and many others who help us “make the details happen” and to whom we are forever indebted to.  The family also includes all those that are involved in every step of bringing Party Cheese to market.  From our suppliers that ensure we have the finest ingredients available to make our cheese, all those who help us make our cheese, the distributors who make sure the markets are stocked with the amazing food that you take home, retailers who strive for excellence in their markets and our customers who remind us daily “why we do what we do”. Even one additional baby boy has joined the Party Cheese Family.

Today all of our cheeses are all-natural, vegetarian, certified Kosher and made from only the finest ingredients available.  Our goal at Party Cheese is to continue to provide a high quality, easy to serve, fun product. We hope to be a part of your fond memories with your friends and family and to inspire you to look at food in a different way.
